Cause for Celebration!

The Heart of a Warrior Foundation forges on in its commitment to provide outstanding programs and support for underserved children. As we reflect on our launch back in 2007 and all the accomplishments we have experienced to date, we have many reasons to CELEBRATE!

We celebrate our generous donors and volunteers of 2009. We experienced unparalleled success with our programs and events – increased participation in our Spring Festival, measured impact in the Young Warriors’ Learning Institute and record fundraising with our annual golf tournament.

We celebrate our evangelists. On behalf of the Foundation, I’d like to personally extend a word of thanks and congratulations to Wendell Hall for his efforts with the organization and on his new role as a member of the Board of Directors.

We celebrate the anticipated growth in 2010. The Foundation will expand the Young Warriors Learning Institute to an additional location and increase our program offerings to further youth development. We will continue in the momentum of our 2nd annual golf tournament and use it as a springboard to the expansion of event activities, support and player participation.

I am excited to assume the role of Executive Director and look forward to raising the Foundation’s visibility and awareness, cultivating impactful strategic partnerships and most importantly, increasing the number of lives positively impacted by our programs. Finally, at our 2010 Spring Festival, the Foundation will “Celebrate Education & Community.” In March, we will renew our community outreach efforts to the people of the Hamilton Park community and surrounding areas. This Spring Festival will further underscore our vision of communal spirit, educational enhancement and fellowship with those that need to “Share the Warrior Spirit”!

As we embark on this new year, let’s not forget just how much we have to CELEBRATE!
